Hey guys.
I want you to listen to one "This I Believe" audio-essay for homework. Here's an example from Loudon Wainwright. He's cool, and he talks about the writing process. You can find another one at http://www.thisibelieve.org/. Post the link to the other essay that you listened to in the comments section of this post. Thanks.
Mr. B.

This one was about the value of the human life, as explained by a lawyer who was forced to compensate families of bankers who died on Sept. 11 more than the families of janitors in the buildings. WILLIAM NORTON

This essay was about a young man who was dyslexic. Even though letters and numbers didn't make any sense to him, he found his strength in solving the Rubik's Cube. Early in his Rubik's career, he became frustrated so he would take the cube apart and rebuilt it. It took him 4 weeks to master the cube. Now he notices how he could focus on other things and still solve the cube. I admire this young man because of his determination. I liked how he stated that the cube taught him that to accomplish something bug, it helps to break it down into small pieces. LATESHA GREENE
